Lipo question
14 July, 2012, 21:57
All,
I know that load of people use 7.4 lipo's in the standard AEG's instead of an 8.4v or 9.6v battery. I'm looking at getting a couple to use in a G&P M4 MOE and was wondering if its ok to use ones that have a rating of 25c+ and
32A continuous, 65A burst.
I know I can get lower rated ones but they are the split packs and I want to get batteries that I can also use in stock tube so I can use when I get a Troy M7.
Also, does anyone know what the longest lipo you can use in a stock tube is,?
Cheers

Re: Lipo question
The motor will only draw the power it needs.
...but avoid Low C rated packs (sub 20C).
Stock tubes will
usually
only take a 1300mAh LiPo, about 125mm long.
