  • what would you add to a stock TM M14?

Not sure this is in the right section, but basically going to get an M14 and wondering what i should do it, what optics/sights should be used etc etc, this isnt going to be a sniper so no uber magnified optics etc but just wondering what and how i should go about adding extras
TM M4A1 (With RIS Grip, Kings arm laser, G&P flashlight and ACOG 4x36 scope), JG VSR 10, KWC glock 17. Full british DDPM loadout.

Leupold M3 looks beautiful on them.

Get a real deal M1 sling for her too.

    In my opinion, very nice:

Are you looking for performance or just external beauty? If you want performance then maybe add a prommy barrel (6.03 is probably your best bet). As for externally, go for whatever you want as it's your opinion. The iron sights are nice, but I have an EOTech on mine because I think it suits it.

I've got a TM socom and the only thing I've found I needed to add was a M1905 leather sling.
I've tried it with mid mounted aimpoints and eotechs and I didnt get on with them as well as aimpoints, eotechs, acogs and standard scopes (3-9x30/40) on a side mount and I didnt like those either.
If you are going purely for looks then an M3 style scope, harris style bipod and leather sling looks very sexy.
Alternatively an aimpoint and leather sling combo with a nice paint job looks great too.

Nothing but a real deal sling, the lines of a M14 should not be spoilt with stuff. Please, whatever you do, do not put a RAS on.

If its a SOCOM, however, as opposed to a full length, you can get away with pretty much anything.

Yup, agreed, a sling is all you need. No point in joining the rest of the crowd and adding extra tat that's pretty much pointless. TM M14 is one of the best 'out of the box' AEGs out there

add a scope - i can sell you a lovely TM 20mm ris mount for one

and then change 0.2 bb for 0.25g

                  and do nothing else

you dont need to mess with perfection
