Downgrade a G36
29 July, 2012, 14:01
Hi all
Just wondering what size of spring do I need to put into a Umerex G36cv as its firing just a tad too hot (387fps was the lowest) it has a a quick release spring thank god but not sure of what spring to use so any help would be perfect!
Thanks Ian...

Re: Downgrade a G36
I had exactly the same problem and I'm playing at the mall on Sunday so ordered an M90 and an M100 so if you can wait a few days I will let you know the results for both?

Re: Downgrade a G36
My G36 was firing 417fps out of the box so I downgraded to an M100 spring which gave me 355fps. That settled after a few shots to just under 350. After I had a tightbore barrel installed the fps jumped up again due to the better air seal, so I downgraded to an M90 spring and voila, I'm back to just below 350fps again.

Re: Downgrade a G36
I've been told the V versions from Umarex are actually manufactured by S&T, although the design is ARES.
Dunno if thats true
