am doing a swap and the bloke had low feedback so he sent first but i have not had anything to my day yet he said he sent last week today what should i do?

Well, you could send me your bank details, credit card and associated PIN numbers, or you could wait and see if it turns up, and in the mean time ask him for a tracking number.

i dont think he sent it tracked which makes me think but i dont want it to be a case of he has sent but royal mail has cocked up and i get it in the neck

If he hasn't sent it tracked, and it hasn't turned up, then that's his fault.

You need to tell him it hasn't turned up as he needs to speak to whoever he sent it with.

simply wait for his item to turn up, if it dosnt, 1 of a few things may have happened.

he sent it, and it taking ages,
he sent it, and the currier has lost/destoryed it
he hasnt sent it

iether way, until you recive the item you have requested, dont send anything. give it another week then move on. leave appropriate feedback, and be happy in the knowlage that you still have your item!

if he sent it royal mail, he will have proof of postage, that includes the postcode of where it was sent to, and its weight.

Even if it was not sent tracked, he should have got a receipt for the parcel.

On that receipt is a unique number so it can still be investigated and hopefully found.

The contract lays with the postal serviice and the sender, so although a pain in the backside, it is up to the sender to chase this up as the RM have no reason to deal with you. If he was honest as to the cost of the contents and didn't try to save a couple of quid on the postage he should be sufficiently insured so that if it doesn't turn up, he will receive his money back.

It may take a while, but that is what is open to you if it doesn't arrive.

Of course, if he sent £2000 worth of stuff and told fibs about the value in order to keep the postage down, he will not be correctly insured and could be one very sad little bunny rabbit in due course!

its only your fault if you got the package, and are now being naughty and saying it hasnt arrived. not suggesting you are for one sec, thats just the only way you are to blame for anything

am not going to lie and do that but if it turns out he has sent it and rm have messed up i will send he so £20 as good will so hes not out of pocket and kit

if you guys know dan jones on here that's his user name I bought off him and he said it had a tight bore inside found out it wasn't got hold of him and he tried refunding me what he paid for the tb as he got conned by someone I didn't take the full refund he offered as he didn't am one of those people who like to be treated as I would treat other people
