Help on purchasing rifle.
19 August, 2012, 18:16
Hi all,
This is for a friend of mine who is looking at getting a new rifle, he mainly plays cqb and would like an M4 but he would just like some opinions on what would be best within a £350 budget which would include battey/ies and mags
Any help is muchly appreciated

Re: Help on purchasing rifle.
I would look along the lines of a G&P sentry or MOE, that would be the most solid m4 make
If it was me I would look at buying a second hand magpul masada or a tm recoil socom

Re: Help on purchasing rifle.
TM socom if he want something with that little bit of zazing.
G&P for a normal AEG really.
Best thing I did was sell my CTW to fund a sopmod CQBR.
Amazing shooters.

Re: Help on purchasing rifle.
In line with the above, have a G&P CQB MOE, amazing fun and great build quality. Also have a TM SOPMOD, huuge fun. Also worth looking at the SCAR - L recoil.

You know it makes sense! Try one out at your local, really are fun fun fun look for either up graded batteries, lipo ready or perhaps the Socom. (front wired). It's a brilliant battery system but also possibly only slightly iffy area of them.

You don't see many (if any) TM Recoil M4s for >£350 though...

Re: Help on purchasing rifle.
Really? The M4 Recce is £570 on Zero One and I thought the normal SOCOMs were £400+?
