Making my MP5 a little more comfortable.
29 August, 2012, 12:45
I recently bought myself a G&G MP5A4 and its fantastic for its price. But I have found unfortunately that during the weekender the pistol grip managed to cause blisters on my hand.
I would like to avoid replacing the lower receiver and would appreciate any advice anyone could give. I did see that someone on the forum had some from of ergonomic grip which slipped over the pistol grip but that member had been banned so I am unable to ask him about it. Also my Google searches turned up nothing.
Cheers

Try gloves?
I intend to fit one of the A3 (?) lowers on mine, it'd about $30!

Maybe don't grip it so tightly? If you've been holding it hard enough to give you blisters, mebe ease off a little bit on that hulk like grip K?

Some of that strapping you get for tennis/squash raquets?

HULK SMASH!
I was thinking about the strapping as I cannot find a grip that would think fit.

Don't get the grippy stuff you find on tennis rackets. That gave me blisters and nothing else does!
Maybe some of the fabric tape would work, but my 1st recommendation is gloves!
