New to the classified market!
11 September, 2012, 22:31
hi there to any1 that can help, im new to this site and need a tiny bit of help!
ive previously always purchased my weapons new from a store but seen some of the great bargains you can find on here (this site rules by the way) and was just unsure as to how i complete a transaction?
what does a seller need from me (apart from paying obviously) and ive never used paypal for anything other than ebay and amazon (auto links to paypal) etc
so how do i pay a private person through that? am i right in thinking i just "send" money to someone by inputting their email address thats linked to their paypal
and bobs your uncle??
really appreciate the help,to any1 that can!!
best regards

Re: new to the classified market!
Basically yes, it'll give you a box you need to tick saying if it's for goods, services or a gift. Always select goods.
Send the money, you get an email receipt, they get an email notification...Job done!
It is very straight forward fella, you can't mess it up

Pretty much. As if a seller contacts your site, they should be able to establish your age with your site registration details.
There's a scammer operating openly on this forum. Please be aware of who you're dealing with.

Re: New to the classified market!
Easy enough, whoever you're buying from then you can give him that number along with say I picture of passport or some other form of ID and then ring a retailer such as Zero One and they can check the number against the details you've provided.
And aslong as your over 18 and it's a good number all you need to do is pay the man
Also which site do you play at? No idea which one 'YAC' is.

Re: New to the classified market!
This thread is a breath of fresh air.
A question that hasn't been asked before and a question that doesn't begin with 'wut am bestest'.
Kudos to the OP.
section 24 of the 1968 Act
Supplying imitation firearms to minors
1)It is an offence for a person under the age of eighteen to purchase an imitation firearm
2)It is an offence to sell an imitation firearm to a person under the age of eighteen.

Re: New to the classified market!
yes, a decent thread for once, even though most of us know the answers, its not a pita to reply...anyway as said before...on no circumstances should you ever pay by "gift" because paypal will not refund you if you buy a broken gun, gun that is not as described or empty box/ a gun that doesnt show up.....and it does happen.....only gift to people you know and trust, and if you can afford to lose the money.......people will ask you to gift to them, because they are tight and they dont want to pay 4% fees, but its best to negotiate to split the fees or walk away
