Re: couple of questions about a we 1911
Pretty sure the 5.1 mag won't fit as the 1911 mags are single stack.

Nope, 5.1 mags are double stack style magazines, similar to Para Ordnance mags, whilst the 1911 ones are half the width and single stack.
TM/Army/Bell/KJW 1911 mags won't fit either.
b. does the we 1911 come standard with a threaded outer barrel ?
It is internally threaded to accept a WE branded adapter or an Action silencer/adapter set, but won't take your standard silencers without said adapter.
There.

Re: couple of questions about a we 1911
Apologies for urinating on anybody's French fries, but a WE 1911 Hi Capa Co2
is
available at a retailer near me.
The blurb from their site:
Well - we had to have a '45 didnt we? Now you can have the great looks of the original but also with the superb tried and tested 5.1 magazine combined. 31 rnd mag gives excellent firepower and as it is CO2 - you get a much more consistent shot as well as a broad operating temperature range. CO2 guns are not 'overpowerful' - they just give you more options.
System - gas blowback, semi automatic, CO2
There's a scammer operating openly on this forum. Please be aware of who you're dealing with.

Re: couple of questions about a we 1911
A WE Hi capa and a WE 1911 take different mags.
As BAMF stated some retailers call the hi capa a 1911 due to the similarities, but they do not take the same mags.
:S
I will be at the NAE 27th-30th August and replies to messages may be slow, bear with me!

Surely its a hicapa then? As the slides are the same... Differences being in the lower half. Often marketed as a 1911hicapa.
