Hi, is it possible to sell an airsoft gun, without a UKARA?

Re: Selling stuff
The defence* is required to
purchase
the gun, not sell it
so, you just need to ensure the potential purchaser has a valid defence
as the seller, you don't need 'a UKARA'
* ie: UKARA

Re: Selling stuff
As heydrich said, it's perfectly acceptable to sell an airsoft gun without having an airsoft retailers association
But should you sell it to someone who isn't 18+ and a regular airsoft skirmisher, then you will have broken the law

Re: Selling stuff
Provided both parties are over 18 and the buyer has a valid defence.
There was an amendemnet in 2007 that also made it an offense to sell a RIF if YOU are under 18.

Re: Selling stuff
WRONG apologies and reference!
The new offence was if you BOUGHT the RIF under 18. It used to be purely the sellers responsibility / fault. If you the buyer are under 18, you are also comitting an offence along with the seller.
Schedule 2, paragraph 8: Supplying imitation firearms to minors
16. This paragraph introduces two new offences. It makes it an offence for
anyone aged under 18 to purchase an imitation firearm and for anyone to sell
an imitation firearm to someone aged under 18.

Apologies for the confusion.

Re: Selling stuff
I did wonder, as you'd mentioned before, an amendment making it an offence for a U18 to buy. Something I previously wasn't aware of, but glad to see!
