Glock 17 & 19 retention holsters

Some advice please fellas, getting my first glock, unsure yet if 17 or 19, will they both fit in the same size retention holster.

If you buy a Blackhawk serpa then yes

The retention is on the trigger guard and they are the same as each other, the only difference between the 17 and 19 in the length and grip height.I can fit my 27 in my 17 holster no problem.

If you end up with a TM Glock 17 then you will need to buy the Serpa for the Glock 45 models as the TM is fatter and wont fit a 17 Serpa properly.

If you get any TM/WE glock, it will fit in a glock 20 SERPA.

I've got a 17 and it doesn't fit into a serpa, so I use a crye gunclip.

does anyone know if he tm glock 17 fits in one of the IMI defence holsters? if not then i guess ile have to get a serpa?

You won't regret getting a Serpa drop leg holster mate, they're awesome. Very happy with mine! They should be good for the £90 odd they cost though!

To be honest i was thinking about a clone, had one for my 1911 and it was great, just not sure about glocks as never had one before, looking like the KWA 19 at the moment

IMI holster - drop leg, belt loop - very good angle adjustment - £70

I used to have serpa but now I would not change my IMI and most of all it's not cheap clone.

I just got myself a genuine crye gun clip, arrived today and im pretty pleased with it will be using it at a game next sunday so will give a proper review then!
