Spring advise
3 October, 2012, 22:39
Hi,
I need to replace my old spring on my TM MP5, as the power is down (240 fps
) but it still makes fairly decent range, I think due to the hop up.
Can I just add any M100 spring without upgrading anything else, or should I stick with a M90 spring to keep safe? My local sites are mostly 330 fps.
I've watched a couple of vids, and dont really want to get into shiming gears etc, I can just open it up, swap the spring and close back up cant I?
Thanks in advance for advising a novice

Re: Spring advise
if you dont open the gear box in the right way, you will have a spring and some greasy gears flying out at you
If you dont own a chrono, or can get hold of one easily, i would just stick in an m90 spring, as an m100 can often bring the fps to over 330fps. Im getting 344fps in my ics gun with a m100.

Element M95, came out at 320 with my m4, has a tightbore barrel aswell so it won't be as high as that.
