Cant seem to find any of those mounts around will the duct tape hold it in place securely?

Otherwise, there is always the old fashioned approach, as listed under option 1 by psirus, later refined by G&G:



or you can either search for a rail kit or just bolt on a length or 3 of RIS rails for the G36.
