hi what would be the best colour match to re paint an sa80 forgrip back to the standard green colour? and where do i find it thanks

olive drab? try B&Q and homebase for spray paints

tryed bnq and they havent got anything, maybe some od krylon but it looks a wee bit dark

Try a model shop, Humbrol do an Olive Drab spray, make sure you undercoat the foregrip as its not as tough as krylon, Games Workshop undercoat works well.

Halfords have a decent range of paint. Just make sure you primer it first to get an even voat

When I looked in halfords all the paint was gloss - dont you need matt spray paint to spray guns with?

Halfords mix paint, and they do spraying also.

Someone told me that Humbrol do a tiger stripe paint, that sounds cool.

Could try these guys, it's grapitti paint, but it is matt, and the colour range is extensive; I do a bit of gun painting as a sideline, and have thinking of trying these to suppliment my range of krylon & EC weapon spray.

P.S. if you buy any, let me know if it's any good; also I always prime the guns I paint with an "etch" or "acid" primer, to make sure the paint doesn't come off, I get mine from halfords

BTW if you did find just the right colour in a gloss paint, you could always put several thin layers on then "MATT" the finish by rubbing in down gentley with fine wet & dry or a rubbing compond. that way it'll be nearly as dull as an ultrs matt
