What make is this AK?

If anyone can tell me what make this AK is:


I'm looking at swapping a handgun for it so I know it's not gonna be great, it also has a plastic body, but hopefully I can change that.

I know squat all about AKs but am quite able to work on gearboxes etc, so any advice would be appreciated.

Judging by the plastic receiver and the style of top casing, I'd say TM. Are there any markings? In the magwell, on the sides etc?

Jing Gong 0512MG flashhider was changed out for a m4/m16

looks like a cyma CM-046 to me. Well all bar the flash hider.

If the owner doesn't know the make, get them to take the pistol grip off and take a pic of the motor sticker if it has one. Should be easier to work out then.

i spotted that one on fb to broken stock tho :/ get him to knock the price down more theres gota be more things broken

Yeah, methinks the broken stock is why its so cheap. I'll have a look-see and decide whether it's worth buying.

Jing Gong Tactical AK47, from back in the days of the Chinese revolution. I used to have one!

The body is Classic Army & TM compatible with minor tweaks.

They aren't bad provided you don't open them up. If you have UKARA I would suggest importing a brand new one for $90 from HK.

Save up and get a proper metal n wood one from z1 im fed up of breaking plastic stocks

Turns out he's already managed to break the stock - will get hold of a cheap wood+metal cyma AK74SU as an idiot proof backup methinks
