XDM holster?!

Hello all,

have a TM XDM on the way to me

but cant seem to see many holsters for this?

I kinda want a black hawk one, so I can use it with my exsisting drop leg.

as the XDM holster seems rare in the county (holster that is) is there any other holsters that will work with it? Sig? Glock? or one of those Glock Cyre gun clips?

there is a serpa available, there is a 'tactical kit' supplier that sells them for about the £40 mark

i was told they fit glock 17 holsters, but have no idea if thats true or not.... so if anyone has any input on this, i'd appriciate it too

a serpa as in blackhawk? as i thought they trademarked that...? or are you referring to a fobus holster that is on the market?

Look harder the website has a drop down list with all that is available I got mine from that kit supplier.

Unfortunately, bad news.. The TM XDM won't go into a clone Glock Serpa holster (I know because I have both pistols and my XDM won't go!). I was also searching, as you are... but in the end it seemed like I had to get the genuine Blackhawk Serpa for a Springfield XD (part no: BH4100007 Carbon variety or BH413507 Sportster variety)

Trouble is that you have to accept that the TM XDM end will stick out slightly from the Serpa but it will hold it perfectly...

just received my new WE XDM today and went onto the Springfield site for a butcher's......saw this:

You dont need a fancy holster for a pistol... after spending £100's over the years on rigid holsters (black hawk / IMI etc...) I have found that usually after a few whacks the screw fixing's start to move about and even in some cases fall out of the moulds (even on a £60 blackhawk..) so recently in the past few months I have been looking at similar ways of holstering a pistol and have found that using a bungee open top M4 mag pouch (as indicated below) will fit a pistol in 8/10 cases (with torches,lasers etc...) perfectly and best of all cost about £10~ if you want an angled holster just buy a 90' molle rotation patch. I have an XDM and find that this magpouch works fantastic as a holster and I will probably not go back to an expensive holster again :D




I tried to find a picture of current soldiers doing the same with their pistols but as of yet have not found one image... (typical eh)
