So Lads...
6 January, 2010, 18:48
I've been wanting to Airsoft for atleast 6 Months and finally have myself an AEG and all my Gear (apart from Tac Vest)
But when I start to skirmish, and become a registered member of a Site and am allowed to own an RIF, Do you have any advice on what Gun to buy?
I'm looking around the £250-£300 Mark, maybe a bit Higher. I quite like the look of the Ares Scar-H Black becuase it can use Attachments, but is pretty awesome without them.
Incase your wondering, my Gun is a G&G GR-16 VCRA Compliant AEG, but I find the ROF is a bit too hot for my liking. 800RPM at the Max for me.
Cheers lads
Sorry for any bad english and/or grammer :P

Re: So Lads...
Get a good reliable AEG for your first gun mate. Maybe get a TM and then get a metal body?

Anything by a good make, then choose which gun you like; in reality, most airsoft guns are similarly produced with specific outer casings. The Ares Scar is fine, good gun for what I've heard, as Ares usually make decent weapons.

Classic Army G-36K?
Any G&P Armalite? (If you do go this route, get a Madbull Ultimate Hop-Up unit at the same time)
There's a huge choice mate, it's all down to your personal preference in the end

Already got my first AEG
sorry for the misunderstanding
That's a Good Idea actually, But I dont want a Gun that requires alot of aftermarket products to improve it (Why my GR-16 was a bit annoying...)
And if you need to know, My local site is Woodland.

Anyone a Fan of the ICS AK74 Fixed Stock version? Found it with 2 550 round Mags. Perfect for me as I am not THAT trigger happy. 1100 Rounds will last me a 30min Game

I do like AK Irons, from what I have seen of them.
Just wondering if anyone knows how good they are on the ICS AK74.
Asuming its ICS it should be brilliant...
