What is or does lipo mean. Have heard/read lipo ready etc etc

Lithium Polymer, as opposed to Nicad or NiMh.

It's a different type of battery requiring a different charger. It's also I think the most common battery in the ******* ***** these days.

The newer 'Life' battery is used in a minority as well.

Referring to 'Lipo Ready' usually means can handle a 11.1v Lipo, which increases ROF considerably, but many guns can only sustain their use for a short period before they blow a piston or shred a gear.
