ACOG help reticle not straight down??

I bought an ACOG like 3 days ago and today I was zeroing it in or trying to get it roughly.. I noticed my + reticle isn't straight like this \ rather than | why is that?? Problem with the ACOG or??

It's a x4 troiijan ( I think that's spelt right)

And from saint Peter he will tell!! one more soldier reporting sir, I've served my time in hell..
