Gas Blowback mag compatability.
8 January, 2013, 23:17
Hey guys I've just got a WA M4 GBB.
And I'm looking to grab a few mags as the 2 I have leak like sinking ships.
Does anyone know if the WE mags will fit a WA?
Also does anyone have a guide on repairing leaking mags such as the Prowin Vn mag.
Many thanks.
Gaz.

No, the WE mags use a different system.

Hey bud
.
WE wont fit.
Ones that I know will fit are:
WA
Prowin
G&P
AGM
King Arms
May be more, but they are the ones I know off.

I'll echo Coski's advice, WE definately wont work in it.
I also believe GHK mags should work in it
As for fixing them, usually its just a seal that either needs replacing or a bit of PTFE tape wrapped around it to help seal it

From the rubber square on top of the mag where the gas feeds into the gun think its called the outlet nozzle?
Ive pressed the little switch on top to make sure the striker valve has popped out but as soon as I start to fill the mag with gas it just vents straight out.

Ahh man that happened to my pro win mag! The o ring has split or cracked! And if it's the one I'm thinking off you will need to search around for the right sized o ring. In the end I gave up and brought a whole new pro win valve for £8-10
And they are a bitch to take apart and put back together

Re: Gas Blowback mag compatability.
prowin to me are no way worth the money 1 of my mags leaked after 3-4 fills from main valve and just dont work right in my king arms Gbb.
gone back to my tm sopmod alot less hassle. in fact i felt like throwing at the wall i was so unhappy with the way it was.
they now sit in a box with my gun doing nothing. which hurts as i spent alot of cash on it with ra / inokatsu parts i wish my airsoft luck was a bit better.
so my advise would be G&P Pmags
