What is this?
25 January, 2013, 14:37
Good afternoon guys
I think I know the answer to this already but any advice alongside it would be awesome.
I have a slight wobble on my Marui M4 CQBR front RIS (Upper and lower section) which I am trying to lose - is the best solution for this (other than trying to find bolts to tighten on the rifle which I have tried looking for) to place an optics mount across the RIS on the upper receiver to the RIS on the front rail like below?
RAILS.jpg
And I assume the above is an optics mount of some form?
I understand that one above is moulded into the RIS itself.
Any other suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks
Jack

Re: What is this?
G&P Magic Pin - Front pin that holds the upper and lower receiver only this one has a screw through it and it expands and you tighten it to remove the wobble. I used one on my M16 and there is no wobble at all now.
-----Update-------
Sorry I realise your problem was the wobble with the RIS not the receiver. :S

Re: What is this?
if your barrel nut is on fully tight and theres still wobble, try shimming it a little. i had to shim min when fitting my Daniel defense front end, as i had a small amount of wobble before hand.
