TM VSR What Upgrades?

    TM VSR What Upgrades?

    Hi there my tm vsr is currently getting serviced, it has had:

    Upgraded sears
    Upgraded piston
    Upgraded spring
    Prommy Tightbore
    Barrel spacers


    Just wondering if there's any other worthwhile upgrades installing while it's there that anyone could recommend.

      An upgraded, ball raced, spring guide. It will make the power of your shots more consistent, and therefore they'll be more accurate.

        Ok was thinking of getting firefly bucking, is it worth it?

        And is the pdi hop really worth it? Seeing as the best part of tm is the hop unit

          I wouldn't bother with the PDI hop unit. The TM hop unit is fine. As for the bucking, although I haven't used one, I've only heard good things about them. The Nineball bucking I installed in mine ruined the accuracy, and I went back to the original TM one. It may have just been bad luck...

              Don't bother with spacers, as you can make your own for only the price of insulation tape, and you can have random colours.

                Ok thanks for the help, was also thinking of getting some damper rings which are meant to reduce noise. Anyone had these installed

                  Tuning and time and effort some mods you can do
                  Barrel polishing
                  floss hop rubber
                  TDC mod
                  Shim the hop unit

                    I really wouldn't do the insulation tape spacers, buy some decent ones.

                      also a bit of ptfe tape in the right places can increase air seal =]

                          the dangerwerx hop arm are brill there slightly wider so theres no need to shim the hop arm
