Fitting an AK scope mount base to a Real Sword Type 56-2 - Possible?

Hi guys.

Getting my grubby little hands on a Real Sword Type 56-2(at last!), and quite fancy sticking a russian style POSP on there.

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit an AK scope mount base to the side of the body without modification?

If not, does anyone know of any RIS mounts I could attach without the mount base?(Not the X47 Rail, cant stand that!)

Sorry to necro, but having just got myself a Type 56-1, I had the exact same idea as Coski.

How'd this all go?
