  • motorola 2PIN radios help

i'm looking at getting a pair of radios that suit Motorola 2pin headsets/PTTs....

budget-wise, i don't want to break the bank, so around £80 (new for a pair) would be at the top end.

already got the headsets, which we use for marshalling, so we want radios that we can just use the same headsets with (2pin)

i been looking through previous threads and the GP68's look good - maybe a bit pricey

    any advice/recommendations/suggestions welcomed....
    cheers

We use the GP68's at fireball for marshalling but you will need a licence for them. They are excellent and even in the summer in thick undergrowth the reception and transmission strength is crystal clear. They are a country mile better than PMR's. So much so, half our team also bought them for use on site too

cheers Phil - i noticed debate in other threads about the need for a licence on the GP68's

TBH, i'm probably leaning towards PMR's, but i'll research GP68/licences, etc
