My first A.E.G

Well, I've have being airsofting today and it was the best thing ever.
Now i wanted the a&k SVD, but i think an A.E.G is the best think for a beginner?
Im looking at at different guns and websites. and the Dboys SCAR has caught my eye.
Ive watched a good review on youtube, but,
what do you guys think?
now it will be my first gun so i don't really know what im looking for.
my budget is about £200, so i could get a sling, sight unit, mags and a laser aswell etc.

i know there a quite a few threads on this sort of thing, but ive done some searching but im lost now,
also, if i got this AND the SVD, would it be practical, or would they get in the way?

AEG is a better starter. and the SCAR is a good choice, can strap as many danglies on to it as possible (if u like that sort of thing)

Don't forget it will come in horrible horrible two-tone, enless you become UKARA registred. Apart from that, go for the SCAR, you will love it.

hmm - i will buy some camo tape to apply while i am there (the jack pyke stuff) to get that gayness off.
and compared to other guns, what are things like battery, is it good size? should i buy a spare?

why dnt you play 3 times then get ukara registered and them you wont have to put the tape over it, it would look much better than a two tone anyday

well im only 16 (and it will be a gift from parents), and i wont have the time to play in two years.

but i cant until im 18? what i meant is that in two years, when i can get a UKARA, then i will be joining the RAF and wont have time for airsofting, and wont have anyone to play with.

if thats the case just get the scar + camo tape. You wont need the svd, the scar will have a decent range.
Do what i did, buy shiny stuff for your gun instead ^_^
Or get a side arm...

Edit: get the vfc scar if u can.

And you will never find a DBoys SCAR mate ules one comes up secondhand. They are like rocking horse poo now. If you are on that sort of budget then go G36, any version will do but C is the most popular. Or an M4, I personally hate them but they are cheap as chips eand eminently upgradeable so therefore an ideal first weapon.
