what gun to get ??

hi ive got my 30th coming up soon and my lovely wife has said that she will get me a new gun
ive got a tm g spec at the mo but would like something a bit different. im after some think that wont fall to bits after one game and you can get spare parts for if you need them. ive got up to £400 and like the look of the Ares DSR-1 ( seen some in the for sale bit ) but i have never has a gas sniper rifle before. or is there any good new spring sniper rifle ?? can any help with recomendations at all ?

Depends what you need, one site has a fair few OEM parts for the tanaka revolvers and then other parts can be traded out for real steel parts so are much easier to get a hold of, this though is in terms of the Single Action Army, not sure about their other revolvers.

All I can say on this thread is.... do not touch the Ares DSR-1, it weighs a metric f**ktonne and the retarded bipod means all the weight is hanging off the bipod so the pos pins they use snap off leaving you to slam your nice expensive gun into the ground.... that gun is all bark with no bite.

You want something different that is pricy... get a Real Sword SVD (If you can find one!)

the Remington MSR i have been told is abit hit and miss and trigger seals are only made for that gun. dame, i liked the DSR-1.but apart from the bi pod and weight is it a good gun to use/look after as weight is not a problem as i have a full metal m16 with m203 and had a m249. im just after something thats a break from the norm. everyone at my site that snipes use vsr-10 , l96 and Dragunov SVD. ive looked at a snow wolf m92 but it would be no different then using a m16 ( just cost more ) ive looked at the Beta Project 'Cheytac' M200 but cant find any spare mags for it.

You could always consider one of those R93 Blasers, I've heard that with a bit of work they are in fact good guns!

(oh and crasstoe on this forum could probably point you in the direction of what work needs doing as he has done it on his)
