I'm after help finding a lipo that will fit into an MP5K.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: CYMA MP5K lipo compatibility
Hi mate.
You might struggle as even the 7.4 stock tube lipo's are slightly too wide to fit.
I ended up rewiring to deans and having a battery bag strapped on the side until I got the ris system for it, so I now have a peq box.
Best bet for now is a battery bag I think.
Cheers

Re: CYMA MP5K lipo compatibility
you'll find most lipos are made in the same factory
and not teaching anyone to suck eggs, but when it comes to lipos i kind of know best
i was using lipos before lipos became erm.. lipo, and trust me when it comes to toy guns, as long as it holds a charge and gives a consistant discharge at a consistant voltage (basically the definition and main difference and why people use lipos over nimh), it will work fine.

I'll give the Firefox one a go then. I have AK top rail ones and they don't fit they are about 2mm to long corner to corner.

Give us the dimensions of the space, we might be able to give you a bit more help (and potentially save you some cash at the same time)

Re: CYMA MP5K lipo compatibility
firefox are good enough but are optimistic with the C rating is all i find.the one in my mp5k works well enough to bring a grin ,the 8.4v in mp5k's is really lacking in today's game.

I've got a FireFox 7.4V 1200mAh 20C lipo in mine
I bought mine in HK but I believe you can get them in the UK

Sorry for the delay. Kept forgetting to take my vernier calliper home from work. I've measured it as 18mm circumference.

Do you mean diameter? 18mm circumfrence would be less than 6mm diameter.
