This, ladies and gents, is a bad idea!... We got it chrono'd after the new o-rings in the piston and it only upped 20fps, which baffled us!
We turned the M4 on it's head, put a piece of paper over the hole in the hop up that feeds rounds in, and fired one shot...the paper went flying...AIR LEAK!

Thought this must have been the tappet plate stopping the nozzle from sealing up to the hop rubber, but it turned out to be the o-ring I put around the nozzle stopping the nozzle from going fully forward...

This has now been rectified, it leaks no air and I'm expecting an extra 20 out of it this week!

Putting an o ring on the air nozzle will lower the fps, it's an old trick and cheap and dirty way of getting hot guns to pass a chrono test.

I wish I'd known that before hand lol. Now I do!

I'll be going to get her Chrono'd again later this week.
