  • scope fogging on inside

hi all, so after playing in the snow on sunday my acog has fogged on the inside i tried the usual putting in a warm place method didnt work ( actually made it worse) tried the fridge that cleared it then as soon as i took it out it happened again so i decided to just take the rear off and wipe the fog off and put it back together that worked...til the morning there are no o-rings or seals or anything at all so not too sure what to do? anyone got any idea's?? i've got some fogtech wipes but i think that might make the clarity of the optic abit less so wont bother with that

Not a lot you can do really. The sign of a cheap scope is that it isn't fitted with O rings and hasn't been dry nitrogen purged to remove any moisture bearing air to stop fogging.

i just took a hairdryer too the insides then put it back together it seems to have worked perfectly but ill see how long it lasts apart from the hair dryer catching fire (oops) not a bad effort haha
