      Re: What To Choose?

      Simple:

Short if you're going to use it for CQB.
Long if you want lots of rail space.

You can get any attachment that fits a 20mm rail.

Figured these were thing 99% of people could research themselves but hey...
      Upcoming Games:
      None

      Armoury: G&G GR15 Raider-L, KJW P226, Cybergun M3, TM MP5 (x2)
Gear: British MTP, Warrior Assault Systems RICAS, Magnum Elite II Boots

        Re: What To Choose?

Long isn't going to make much of a difference in terms of performance and in the end it's a cosmetic difference. Personally I'd go with the short because it will be far more maneauverable, both in woodland (tight trees) and in CQB

              Re: What To Choose?

It doesnt make a difference. All aegs essentially work the same, its just what you like the look of.

I had a g36c to start with (still have it at the back of the cupboard!) and its never missed a beat.

                Re: What To Choose?

I was going to buy the raider long as I think it looks the nicest.

I bought a better full metal one second hand from the for sale section just because it was the same money for better quality.

Hope you get one you like bud.

well, a g36c can be used for both (short length, fold up stock for cqb)...... id say get one of them.

                          Re: What To Choose?

I have a long G&G GR16 (Full metal) for woodland and a Umarex MP5A5 for CQB. Works well enough for me.

You gotta love what Modern Warfare has done for airsoft, gaming, and militaria stuff in general.

Not to toot my own horn but I wrote an in-depth discussion about what an efficient setup constitutes of in airsoft. You--or any other new player--ought to have a look. Save yourselves from buying useless crap you don't need.
