SR16-E3 to a LaRue DMR Project.
1 March, 2013, 12:13
Right guys, recently acquired a King Arms SR-16 E3 from these forums, and took her for a skirmish Feb 24th, firstly this thing is pretty darn accurate and I love it
performance wise is brilliant, and I saw a couple of LaRue projects on here that's got me thinking (dangerous at the best of times), now I've found where to find specific things e.g. The LaRue rail, scope etc. sadly not the receiver but oh well. But The internals guide have thrown me off though as im still new to this, so I've no idea what everything is or what it does.. I do love the LaRue projects I've seen and would love the looks of one If anything (without upgrading), though I can't help but thing it needs the DMR build, any upgrade advice/help would appreciated, it's running a 7.4 lipo, madbull hop-up, M100 spring and is currently shooting between 330-350 fps, (words of previous owner, haven't yet got it chronoed).
Many thanks
Jay

It's already shooting at the legal limit for a fully automatic AEG, unless you are planning on making it semi only I wouldn't do anything.

Agreed, I'd leave it at that bud.
Out of interest which site did you go to?

Yeah probably will, I go to Ground Zero Pidge, missed some opportunities for some kills which I reckon I could've got with extra range D: so I thought I'd ask what's needed.

I go to Ground Zero aswell, Its not the best place for long shots.............. However i am into the SR25's at the moment and enjoy using semi. It is a pain when going against someone on full auto with a high cap

Can't be me as I use mid caps
well I'd watch YouTube all day to find a way to lock it to semi but like you just said, I bump into someone who's on fully automatic I'm doomed..
