    Looking at securing my accessories onto my gun and i have some pics im hoping someone can help me in identifing the wire/string used, or if youve done it what have you used?

    Looks like its just on RIS mate no tape. Just bolt ons.

      I think the fella is referring to the thin plastic coated wires similar to the annoying stuff that keeps my transformers attached to the cardboard box innards.

            Yes thats what im talking about thought i asked the question clearly...obviously not :/
            I was looking into a secondary securing device in case an accesoy doesnt get lost if it get knocked off or the mount breaks (which i have had happen before) plus the 553 in QD so extra security will be needed there...

              seems to be a good idea for RS but for airsoft simply making sure you have used a screw driver to do everything up tightly should be enough.
              your accessories surely cant be so loose that you NEED to fix them in place with wire?

                £120 for an g&p eotech
                £50 for the peq-box
                £40 for the m3x
                I think abit of extra security wont go a miss...

                  You're looking for LOCK-WIRE.
                  You'll find the kits online or in most motorcycle shops.
                  It's mandatory in club racing to secure various objects of your bike. (Simple def)
