I think the fella is referring to the thin plastic coated wires similar to the annoying stuff that keeps my transformers attached to the cardboard box innards.

Re: Securing optics/accessories
Yes thats what im talking about thought i asked the question clearly...obviously not :/
I was looking into a secondary securing device in case an accesoy doesnt get lost if it get knocked off or the mount breaks (which i have had happen before) plus the 553 in QD so extra security will be needed there...
900+ posts and you cant read a thread properly....

Re: Securing optics/accessories
seems to be a good idea for RS but for airsoft simply making sure you have used a screw driver to do everything up tightly should be enough.
your accessories surely cant be so loose that you NEED to fix them in place with wire?
For Sale!
TM M870 with a load of stuff
A&K massada sniper spec
Chronograph
leaving airsoft so everything must go

Re: Securing optics/accessories
You're looking for LOCK-WIRE.
You'll find the kits online or in most motorcycle shops.
It's mandatory in club racing to secure various objects of your bike. (Simple def)
