Need advice about a SVD

Hey guys and girls,

I'm looking for at getting myself an A&K SVD Draganov sometime soon as my first sniper rifle, I want to know what everyone's thoughts are on this weapon and whether it's worth getting. I've almost set my sights only on this weapon but the things bothering me are whether:

A) It's worth it
B) The problems it's known to have
C) and how to improve/repair them.

If anyone has any advice please let me know
