Hiya, I want to buy a polar star fusion engine from the US, and was wondering what the import charges would be.

Re: Importing NON RIF airsoft parts to the UK
HMRC website has information on excise charges and you already know what VAT is charged at, so you can work it out yourself, remember that you are charged for the whole amount including the shipping costs and also bear in mind that the majority of items imported from the US get hit with the full amount of charges unlike those that slip through the net from the far East.

yup, got it calculated, looks like I could get hit with 120.00 of import charges.

Not a case of could with US imports, more a case of probably will.

Yup, I'm prepared for the worst, trying to find a second hand one (US or UK)
