Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get magazines which are loose in the magwell to fit any better?

Re: Loose fitting mags
Black electrical works well and blends in. If not, you could always use black duct tape.

Re: Loose fitting mags
Rockrobin's advice is bang on, black nasty all the way.
Ifs its quite a major wobble, tho, and you plan on only using that type of mag, i have known people use plasticard to tighten the magwell, tho thi does mean, as mentioned, you can only use that particular type of mag.

Re: Loose fitting mags
I put a four layers of 5 cms strips on the back of the mag, centered, an 4cms from the top - works a treat :-)

Re: Loose fitting mags
my mate had an alternate fix for this too.
He basically added a small slip of plastic to the rear of the mag so it sits better in the magwell - something like a credit card thickness will do it

Re: Loose fitting mags
When you say its too loose, how loose exactly? As if it is an armalite they are designed to have loose fitting magazine wells so that when you hit that magic button, the magazine drops out onto the floor allowing you to use your free hand to bang the spare mag in rather than having to fart about pulling the mag out then slapping the other one in.
This Post may contain my opinions and if you disagree with them Tough S**T!

Re: Loose fitting mags
Good point aribos.. I have found over the years that 2 blobs of silicone are a good fix, you can always peel it off again if needed

Re: Loose fitting mags
Well it's a G36 so the mag should be relatively snug with no wobble I believe

Re: Loose fitting mags
never put anything in the magwell , sometimes they break off and get caught in the magwell.put some elctrical tape on the top of the mags , that will do the trick. :D

Re: Loose fitting mags
just had this on my cyma m14 hicap- answer black electrical tape. if it rubs it will crinkle the tape in the problem area-just use acraft knife to trim the offending areas off. u should be left with a perfect fit
