but would i need a higher current rating that 25C or would that do ? what do most motors draw (current wise) as i have 50 in burst fire though

thats insane !!! i thought motors only run at 30C max (online research) for most things , not 100% for airsoft but im sure they dont need 75A

        Re: lipo help

        3aH*25c = 75a, 3aH*50c = 150a, simples.

            Re: lipo help

Just to clarify, the C rating is the DISCHARGE rate not the amount of CURRENT it can deliver. That's a function of the capacity and discharge rate (as per your and Rev's calculations).

I think the motor figures you found are more likely to be in Amps, so 30A draw. In reality, most AEG's will be 15-20A with DSG and higher FPS AEG's up to 60A and beyond!

              Re: lipo help

The amount of current your battery can deliver IS NOT what your motor will draw. Your motor will draw AS MUCH as it needs (say 15A as an entirely arbitrary figure) - if your battery can supply that much current then your motor will draw it, if it can supply less than that then you've got problems (IE lower RoF and a battery that gets warm very quickly).

That battery will supply plenty for any gun
