hop-up. Prowin cnc Vs ascu

I currently have the pro win cnc hop unit in my m4 which is fantastic. But I also have an ascu v2 fitted so quite fancy the bolt lock feature you get with there new hop unit.

Question is how does it compare to the pro win. I dont want to downgrade as such just to have a bolt lock feature. How easy is the installation ie the wiring ?

With some dremel action and a little work you could probably fit the ASCU hop unit sensor into the CNC Prowin Hop Unit. It's only a microswitch that protrudes into the bb channel

I was thinking this. Wonder if its possible to just buy the sensor ?

You can apparently buy the data cable for the v2. Apparently its a spare part due to it being fragile ....

Someone in a review thread on here earlier today reported that after 500 rounds or so their bolt lock switch/the microswitch in the bb tube had already broken... I'd personally stick with your cracking prowin hop unit, as they are simply awesome.

hmmmmmm.may just take the chance for £28. if it breaks after a day it will go back, could even look into finding the parts to build my own system to fit to a prowin

ive not had a problem with my v2 ascu so going by that id expect good things.
