  • Pistol Suggestions

Ok I'm not new to airsoft...I just need a hand choosing a new GBB pistol...

Basically after something that is fairly modern but will go well with my gear and M16VN.

Basically wearing all olive at the mo...planning on getting British Desert.

A couple of pistol options are:

    TM Deagle
    Socom Gear MEU
    WE 1911

Any other suggestions then let me know...need to have a good long think about it!!

    Cheers

If it's a 1911 or MEU, it has to be the TM unless you're splashing out on a WA

        Re: Pistol Suggestions

I had a Socom gear MEU very good bit of kit, 30-40m range accurately on abbey ultra. mag and a half worth of firing per gas charge, silver mags had lock down spring for easier reloading, it was well good plus came in hard case with lanyard silencer and adaptor.
Just because I don't post often doesn't mean I am not playing Airsoft

If your using a Nam m16 its got to be a 1911
Get a tm, reliable and just all round great then put real wood grips on it

My one in my avatar is a TM and its got black walnut grips made by a guy on my site

Cheers guys...I was thinking about the ol' 1911 a while back....My mate keeps telling me to go back to the Deagle...but it is just that bit too big.

The socom gear MEU is very nice as well...but for the Nam look the 1911 it must be

                Cheers for the help xD

                      Re: Pistol Suggestions

We 1911's are cracking during the summer. But winter = a big no no. They are real gas hogs. In the winter you will hardly ever get more than 10 rounds off from a fresh can of gas. The TM 1911 is pretty similar. The gas resivour's on them both is too small. So it's have to be a WA variant or the TM .50

                        Re: Pistol Suggestions

I would suggest the TM 1911. A cracking piece of kit with a great sound, range and accuracy, authentic markings (if you care for that), it works great in the cold and it looks the dog's danglies. The only thing I would recommend changing on it is the grips. Real wood ones look great! One gripe with it is, as mentioned before, the small gas capacity in the mags (on Saturday I could only get around 23 rounds from one fill of Abbey Ultra).

                          hfc glock 17
                          very cheap
only downside is that in the cold it will only let you get of 3 shotts before having to fill up on gas again.
mind you thats what happens to most gbb's

KSC USP version 7 is a cracking side arm. For winter time you can purchase a TM USP AEP and use the same holster!
Sir we are f&cked we are surrounded. Son we are not f&cked we are in a target rich enviroment.

I bought a KJ Works M9 towards the end of the summer (2009) and its been a superb side arm.
Seeing as they're only there to back you up when you've run out of ammo on primary weapon or when room clearing, etc.
When it does come round to using it, it's got good power behind it + perfect accuracy for a pistol = :D

                              would Personally recommend.
