m4 outer barrels

how do you know if a barrel will fit your particular gun? they dont seem to have any specs other than the length

If its an AEG then it will take AEG barrels, if its a SOPMOD it will take SOPMOD barrels, if its a PTW it will take PTW barrels. If it's gas you need to make sure the barrel is for the specific brand of gas system your gun uses.

Some are loose fitting, some are tight fitting. I had to spend half an hour prying a VFC steel barrel out of a classic army receiver the other week. Every other m4 ive come across its a snug to loose fit.

hmm, i have a G&G cm16 gbb which can become an aeg with a quick swap of internals :P do you reckon itd get away with an aeg barrel or would it be some special and impossible to find thing?
