What does "Bump" mean??

    What does "Bump" mean??

    I am sorry, but I am probably going to regret asking this question...but..... I keep seeing "Bump" written in peoples replies in the 'For Sale' classifieds. What does it mean???

    if you post in a thread in a forum it goes to the top so a bump moves your thread to the top therefore more publicity

      Its to get the thread back to the top of the list so it's seen near the beginning, so people are most likely to see it. Theres a forum rule where you must leave three days between each bump.

      The amount of fail on this forum is increasing. Stop it. Use the damn search function.
