i havn't done any skirmishes yet as i havn't got a gun, i want to buy the ares l85 a2 rifle from zeroone, i have alot of freinds who do airsoft once a month so ill start going with them. i dont have a licence as i havn't done any skirmishes as i said before and am also under 18, my dads buying it for me who doesn't do airsoft

I need help with these things:
how do i proove my dads age?
is it a good gun?
where do i buy camo tape for the gun?

1. A copy of your dad's driving license would suffice
2. It is a very good bit of kit. Feels and looks quite nice (a SUSAT would make it look even better) it and shoots well. However, I've heard that the ICS version is good as well, so it may be worth taking a look at that one and comparing the two.
3. Army surplus/airsoft shops/a certain bay/a famous search engine?

I don't think payment by credit card proves that you are over 18. My mate's and my parents had to email proof of age (driving license/top of card bill).

im the same height and can easily wield a sa80

edit: you have to be 18 or ovr to have a credit card nyway

I think as long as you have an L85 sling/3 point sling you should be ok. I'm not the strongest guy myself and the sling was a life-saver on a CCF exercise (the A2s weigh quite a bit more than the old GPs).

Congratulations.

Your dad only meets one of the two legal requirements needed to purchase a RIF.

.....How is he going to buy the gun with no proof of defense?
