In Your Opinion...

What would you consider to be the rank of AEG manufacturers, not including cheapsoft manufacturers. In terms of build quality, reliability, etc.
Obviously Systema being the bling high end option. So I'd put them at number 1.
Out of all the AEG's I've owned over the past 7 years of playing. I've only ever owned 3 different manufacturers. So I'd have to say;
1. G&P (M4 Special Ops)
2. ICS (AK74)
3. TM (AK47, MP7, G36)
EDIT: Just noticed I've put this in the wrong section, should've been in the General Discussion section, but I suppose it could help the newer players in a way.

I must admit, I was tempted to do the same. My CQB wasn't that great for reliability but my 249 has been awesome, and TMs will still be running post WWIII, so...

Just because Systema 'PTW' cost £1000+, doesn't mean they're the best.
And no, owning a System doesn't increase the size of your penis - or makes you 'da best' on the field.
Not including cheapsofts, eh?
I'd say G&G and ICS are good. Very reliable, and fantastic performance.
G&P have great externals, but need a little work done on them out of the box.
STAR - Excellent replicas .

Re: In Your Opinion...
in terms of performance i would put tm on top. as well as relatively good value.
then probably g&p and classic arms. But i do like full metal which is the only department till lately tm have failed at. though after a few years of skirmishing. plastic can be quite a nice change from lugging metal around.
so
1) TM
2) G&P
3) Classic Army
and at the bottom due to my bad luck with them, KING ARMS.

+1 I guess you can tell from my name that I'm a bit of a Marui fanboy
I just find their stock performance is that little bit better than the other manufacturers (probably due to their superior hop-ups) and their quality is second to none.

Re: In Your Opinion...
Well I am going to put my neck on the line here. I have owned Classic Army TM G&G King Arms and Star/Ares at one time or another. But I have to say until recently would have said TM Now though there a new kid on the block, well not new but very much better than before. I now own a SRC G36 KV and i have to say it is streets better than any of my other "top" brnaded guns. So based on that heres my list.
1 SRC Better internals and way better externals than TM and more accurate rendition of G36 than any other make.
2TM Super internals with iffy creaky plastic outers (at least in the models I have owned)
3Classic Army Have a 249 and that is the bees knees but other guns can be hit or miss and IMO although excellent guns I believ they are overpriced.
4 King Arms. only one gun in their range I wanted and that is the SLR Used the real steel in the Army. A little light creaky forestock but internals are excellent.
5 G&G SA80 was mine excellent gun but numerous niggles good internals but personally think QC is a bit hit and miss for a premium manufacturer.
6 Star/Ares Far too hit and miss and way overpriced for what their guns are. Would never own oneout of choice.

For me anyway. Yes I do own each make so based on preferance rather than what others say.
