I think the point hes trying to make is that he likes the look of the SR16 URX (uninterupted rail system) But is not sure wether to take the plunge and get a GBB version or stick with an AEG.

ive quickly read about tm sopmods not that much though. i dunno why but i think my hearts set on a gbbr but still i could change my mind ill have to have a read up on the sopmod

I fully agree, but there are muppet's out there that will try to get over the rules. It's a shame but it's happened before.
I'd just stick with an AEG for the time being, until GBB is more common and all the problems are ironed out.

Unfortunately thats true. Im gonna say just go for it it might be a work in progress to make it perfect but thats half the fun! upgrading and modifying! As i type my HK416 is in pieces around me as im relubing the gbox and just generally fiddling!!

yeh i supose part of the hobby is maintenance. but then again it can get annoying too much of it lol. i think im gonna go for it and get one if i dont like it i can always sell it
