Air nozzle universal?
8 July, 2013, 22:37
Simple really, are AEG air nozzles universal?
I have an SR-25 DMR and was wondering whether it had some kind of longer/special air nozzle?

Re: Air nozzle universal?
The majority are slightly different in lengthS, some even have different fittings on to the tappet plate. An SR25 could have a standard M4/M16 Marui type length if it has an elongated gearbox or it could have an extended length version if it has a standard gearbox.

Re: Air nozzle universal?
In a word, no, air nozzles are advertised for different AEGs. My mp5 air nozzle is a bit shorter than an M4 air nozzle, it really depends on the distance between your hop's bb feeder and your gearbox. Ive never tried an M4 air nozzle in my MP5 but if I did I would have thought it wouldnt feed any bbs. Saying that I bought an SHS aluminium air nozzle that was much smaller than my current air nozzle which were both advertised as MP5 air nozzles and both of them feed fine despite the huge difference in length. Since then I have swapped it out as I thought it was dropping my fps by about 30fps but it may not have been the issue.

Re: Air nozzle universal?
Alright, thanks guys, I assume it might use an M4 one because they have the same hop unit, however the SR-25 gearbox is longer. Looks like I'm gonna have to do some more research. If anyone knows which ones fit the SR-25 exactly, any recommendations would be most appreciated.

Re: Air nozzle universal?
It's gun dependant. As far as i'm aware CA/AGM use the same one. However G&P and G&G use their own
