    Hi Guys.

was going to nip into my local shop in the morning to pick up a sling, but should I buy any range/accuracy parts for my VFC?

It seems damn good stock, accuracy is pretty good as is the range, but does someone know from experience that a certain hop rubber for example makes it even better?

All mine has is a Firefly bucking (probably not available in the UK anymore) and it's earned itself the nickname of 'The Laser' in my team. Even though it's only firing just over 300fps the range is pretty decent too. However, it had the bucking done before I bought it, so I can't say what it was like stock.

Do you think a firefly hard rubber would be ok in a 340-350 fps aeg?

I have heard that their not that hard.

I think it was Gaffa that said somewhere their hard wasn't that hard, so I expect it to be ok

I went from a stock hop which was awful, to a stock hop rubber with Element unit, which was decent, then to a Pro-Win hop which proved to be excellent all the time. All the while with the stock vfc hop rubber and a piece of silicone wire with the core removed as the nub.
