  • Propane in moscarts

I'm just about to start using moscarts but I only use propane at the moment. Is it ok to use propane in moscarts or do I need to buy some different gas?

Just to add if using propane it is worth putting a few extra drops of lube in the tank or when you do maintenance on the moscart's just give the o-rings a quick once over with some silicone spray.

Just saves having to buy o-rings as Moscarts tend to dry quickly due to their usage levels and if the o-ring on the main core goes pop it won't hold gas at all.

Be wary of the little metal ball bearings as well, tip for those is dip them in some normal vaseline just to help hold them in the core however you can buy the repair kits that have the ball bearings and o-rings in for a few quid.
