AEP battery charging?
12 March, 2010, 19:50
Hi folks.-Probably a silly question , but ,was wondering as to the number of cells in a aep 7.2v, 500mah battery As i need to set my charger, and am aware that you must not over charge these.

Re: AEP battery charging?
they dont use a special charger, you only need the adapter end for the battery.
the chargers that come with aep,s are crap and will destroy your batterys

Re: AEP battery charging?
Thanks folks .Yes, I am aware of the dangers of using cheepo chargers. Mine is a decent , uk make. At present have set it to - 6 cells, and 300 mA. I realise that this is a slow charge . But was wondering how long it should take for each of my 2 aep batteries?

Re: AEP battery charging?
the batts are 500 mah so

Re: AEP battery charging?
300mA is the lowest setting on my charger--am just waiting for the "green " charged indicator to light up.
