I'd go for the Advancer V12s over the ICE, I've got a pair of ICE 2.4's and to me they seem too open around the back. It would only take an unlucky shot from behind to go up the sides and into your eye (and it has happened to one unfortunate guy before).

This is a valid concern, and the reason why the blurb that comes with the 2.4s specifically says they're not suitable for airsoft.

Doesn't stop a lot of people (including me) using them, though.

That said, I have the prescription lens inserts, which are closer to the eyes and closes a lot of the gap.
