  • fitting a large 9.6 into an M16 stock

Has anyone manage to modify a G&P M16a3 stock to fit a large 9.6v batttery?

If so what did you do?

Surely it would fit without modification?

If it cannot actually fit, you could always file down for some space inside the stock.

Its about 1 cm to long. The battery I think reaches the narrow part but cannot then fit any further :S

Maybe this battery is a larger than large vapex...

I had this issue. And as the stock bolt went all the way through the stock on mine, no matter what i filed it split my stock open. So i then duct taped it and covered it in scrim net

Got a G&P M16VN sitting here that I'm working on, 9.6v 3300mAh seems to fit fine?

Can depend how the wiring is, on the M14 stock you can feed a wire back into the stock kind of, and fit a 8.4 4600 MAH (which is very big)

mine fits fine! the best thing about G&P full stocks is that the screw doesnt go all the way down like others do. should fit fine mate
