fitting a buffer tube and sliding stock to M16

Hi guys, im just playing about with an m16, It currently has a full stock but I fancy putting an m4 stock on it. Anyone know what work or parts are required. except the buffer tube and stock its self

You'll need the sliding stock tube screw and screw cap/stopper. And a new sling plate. And thats it basicly

Ok, do i need a particular type of buffer tube if I want to put my buffer tube lipo in it?
