hakkotsu (aps) m40a3 vs modify mod 24

hi,
i'm looking at buying a new sniper rifle after christmas to replace my current l96.
i've narrowed my choices down to the aps m40a3 and the modify m24.

does anyone have any experience with either rifle?
also what upgrades are they compatible with and what parts need replacing.

the aps is cheaper and works off a similar system to the tm l96 and the mod 24 seems to be vsr based.

I would personally go for the Hakkotsu because of the realistic mag system.

I personally wouldn't go with anything "pre upgraded". In my own experience the upgrades never seem to be that great. You're much better off going with a stock rifle and upgrading it yourself with parts you know to be good quality, such as Laylax, PDI, or ASPUK.

Downside to the Hakkotsu is the removable stock. Im always cynical about how much abuse they can take before something breaks.
